Found my new company to order. The best out of any of them. 10 stars.
They easily helped me with my design, then turned out the gang sheets quickly. It worked out very well.
We print six miles from downtown Palatine. Straight down Roselle Road and you are at our door in about fifteen minutes.
That is unusual for this industry. Most DTF suppliers serving the northwest suburbs are shipping from another state, which means your transfers spend two or three days in transit before you can press anything. Ours are printed in Schaumburg.
DTFIL prints wholesale direct-to-film transfers with no minimum order. Order before 12:00 PM CST, Monday through Friday, and everything prints and ships within 24 hours. Free shipping over $100.
The northwest suburbs are full of small operations — home studios, side businesses, one-person shops, volunteer-run booster clubs. None of them want to commit to a minimum order.
There isn't one. Order a single transfer. Order four hundred. The process is identical either way, and there is no volume tier you have to reach before we will print for you.
Our print floor is at 935 Lunt Ave in Schaumburg — the next town over. Your transfers do not cross a state line, sit in a regional sorting hub, or spend a weekend on a truck.
Order by noon Central, Monday to Friday, and it prints and ships that business day. For anyone working to an event date — a tournament, a fundraiser, a birthday — that predictability is worth more than a marginally cheaper unit price.
Shirts, hoodies, totes, aprons, hats. Then tumblers, mugs, and notebooks with UV-DTF. Plus leather, denim, canvas, nylon, and spandex for gym wear.
You are not learning a second system to expand your catalogue.
Not ready to commit? Order a free DTF and UV-DTF sample pack, press it on your own blanks, and put it through the wash before you spend anything.

Home-based sellers and crafters — The northwest suburbs have a genuinely dense population of Etsy shops, Facebook Marketplace sellers, and craft-fair regulars running out of basements and spare bedrooms. Gang sheets let you fill an order without owning a printer or holding stock.
Schools and student groups — Palatine High School, Fremd High School, and the wider District 211 community ordering spirit wear, club shirts, and fundraiser apparel. Harper College student organizations, athletics, and campus groups. (See the FAQ below on official school logos — those have rules.)
Park District and youth sports — Palatine Park District leagues, travel teams, and tournament organizers ordering jerseys, practice shirts, coach apparel, and parent tees.
Churches and community organizations — VBS shirts, volunteer apparel, mission trip merch, and event tees for congregations across 60067 and 60074.
Local businesses — Restaurants and bars along Northwest Highway and around the downtown Metra area, salons, gyms, trades, and contractors ordering branded staff apparel and workwear.
Events and fundraisers — Palatine Street Fest vendors, charity 5Ks, school fundraisers, and community events ordering volunteer and participant shirts.
Print shops and heat-press businesses — Local operations that press but do not print, and want a supplier close enough that transit is not part of the schedule.

From downtown Palatine, take Roselle Road south — roughly fifteen minutes without traffic. From the Route 53 corridor, exit at Higgins and come west.
Free shipping on orders over $100 if you would rather it come to you. Most local orders are a short hop from our facility.
[VERIFY BEFORE PUBLISHING] Confirm whether walk-in or scheduled pickup is available at Lunt Ave, and add hours if so. For Palatine customers this removes transit from the timeline entirely and is a genuine advantage over out-of-state suppliers — worth its own section if you offer it.
1. Upload your artwork PNG with a transparent background, 300 DPI at final print size. Vector files work too.
2. Pick your format Individual transfers by size, or gang sheet if you have multiple designs. The Auto Gang Builder nests them for you and shows the layout before you pay.
3. We print within 24 hours Anything before 12:00 PM CST, Monday to Friday, goes to press that business day.
4. Press and go Cut the designs apart, press, done.
| Fabric | Temperature | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Cotton — first press | 300–315°F | 10–13 seconds |
| Cotton — second press | 300–315°F | 3–5 seconds |
| Polyester blends | 300°F | 10–12 seconds |
| 100% polyester | 250–285°F | 3–8 seconds |
Pressure: Firm and even on every press.
Peeling: Cold peel is preferred. Hot and warm both work if you prefer them.
Before anything else: cut off the colour ribbon. That strip along the edge of the transfer will not come off a garment once it goes under the platen.
Keep seams, buttons, and zippers outside the press area. Uneven contact across a seam is the most common cause of a print lifting after washing.

How fast can I get transfers in Palatine?
Orders placed before 12:00 PM CST, Monday through Friday, print and ship within 24 hours. Since we print in Schaumburg rather than out of state, local transit is short. Free shipping applies on orders over $100.
Is there a minimum order?
No. One transfer or several hundred — same process, same turnaround.
Can I print Palatine High School, Fremd, or Harper College logos?
Not without written permission from the school or district. Official school names, logos, and mascots are protected marks, and that applies to booster clubs and parent volunteers as much as to commercial printers. District 211 and Harper both have processes for approving spirit wear — go through them and we will happily print once you have the approval. Original designs that don't use official marks are no problem at all.
Do you print on tumblers and mugs, not just shirts?
Yes — that is UV-DTF, built for hard surfaces. Same ordering process as apparel transfers.
What file format should I send?
PNG with a transparent background at 300 DPI or higher, sized at final print dimensions. Vector files are fine too. Artwork pulled from a website or social media will print soft, so ask for the source file when a client sends you a logo.
Will DTF work on dark shirts?
Yes. Every transfer prints with a white underbase, so colours stay accurate on black, navy, and dark garments.
Do you offer tax-exempt purchasing?
Yes, for qualifying schools, churches, and nonprofits. Submit your certificate through our Tax Exempt page and it applies to your orders.
Can I see the quality before ordering?
Order a free DTF and UV-DTF sample pack. Press it on the blanks you actually sell and wash it a few times before you commit.
