Heat Press Instructions
Color Ribbon: Avoid pressing the colored ribbon that runs alongside the transfer roll, as it cannot be removed from the shirt.
First Press: Apply firm pressure at 300-315 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-13 seconds, ensuring the image is properly positioned. Experiment with your heat press for the best results.
Peel Method:
Cold Peel: Allow the transfer to cool completely before removing the film. Use a cloth to rub if necessary. (Preferred method) Hot Peel: Immediately peel off the film in one swift motion. Warm Peel: You can gently peel off the film when warm. While you have the option, we highly recommend using the cold peel method.
Second Press: Apply firm pressure at 300-315 degrees Fahrenheit for 3-5 seconds.
Note: Consistent and even pressure is crucial for strong adhesion. Avoid pressing over pockets, seams, buttons, zippers, etc.
Polyester/Blend Fabric: Reduce the temperature to approximately 300 degrees Fahrenheit and shorten the time to 10-12 seconds as these fabrics absorb heat quickly. Press multiple times if necessary, allowing cooling time between presses.
100% Polyester: Lower the temperature to 250-285 degrees Fahrenheit and reduce the press time to 3-8 seconds. Experiment to find the optimal time, temperature, and pressure. Press multiple times if necessary, allowing cooling time between presses.
